My client is one of the worlds top commercial Interior Design companies with offices in many locations around the globe.
Their name is synonymous with creativity, quality and style.
They primarily focus on the retail sector with a strong emphasis on creating vibrant, branded environments.
Due to an ongoing demand for their services they are currently in need of a Mid Weight Interior Designer for their London based Studio.
Main Duties:
working actively as part of a creative team
manage specific projects/part of projects
produce and develop concepts on a project by project basis
some client exposure
develop communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
To work closely with the designer/s and project team members, as directed by the project leader.
To gain full understanding of each design brief and deliverables.
To produce presentation boards and documentation as appropriate.
To co-ordinate activities for client presentations and attend client meetings.
To organize activities and responsibilities within projects and the studio.
To deliver conceptual work of the highest creative standard.
To be able to work with and communicate with external suppliers and contractors.
Key Skills:
To be able to sketch to a high standard
To demonstrate organisational skills.
To work to a high creative standard.
To be process and technologically competent, appropriate to skill base.
To demonstrate a desire and willingness to increase professional responsibilities, skills and understanding of broader market issues.
