My client is one of the world’s top commercial Interior Design companies with offices in many locations around the globe.
Their name is synonymous with creativity, quality and style.
They primarily focus on the retail sector with a strong emphasis on creating vibrant, branded environments.
Due to an ongoing demand for their services they are currently in need of a Senior Interior Designer for their London based Studio.
Main Duties:
Manage specific medium sized projects/part of projects
Develop client presentation skills
Actively develop creative awareness/ability
Guide and assist designers/juniors
Key Responsibilities:
To be able to sketch to a high standard
To be proactive within the company
To organize activities and responsibilities within projects.
To ensure consistent and effective communications take place within the project members.
To work closely with Associate Design Directors and other senior members of staff to help develop and nurture the creative studio and creative standards.
To motivate, inspire and nurture junior designers professionally.
To undertake project leader responsibilities (including creative, administrative and presentations within the brief).
To ensure in conjunction with the project leader and secretary that the file is kept up to date.
To co-ordinate activities for client presentations, attend client meetings and to deliver a clear report of meetings.
To deliver conceptual work of the highest creative standard.
To have a clear understanding of the proposal and to highlight and pre-empt issues that may arise.

To demonstrate organizational skills.
To work to a high creative standard.
To demonstrate clear communication skills when briefing others, delegating, expressing creative ideas and presenting.
To be technologically competent, appropriate to skill base.
To demonstrate a desire and willingness to increase professional responsibilities, skills and understanding of broader market issues.
To demonstrate an ability to liaise and develop relationships with clients.
